Applications will be accepted from students who want to participate in Applied Engineering Education in the spring semester. Applied engineering education is optional.
Below are the general requirements for applied engineering education.
1. The student must adhere to the 2021 curriculum and be in their senior year.
2. Student GPA must be at least 2.50 (at the end of the fall semester).
3. Including the spring semester, the student must not have any absent or failing (D) courses (except for Professional Practice I - II courses)
4. Maximum 2 failed (FF) courses, including spring semester.
5. There must be at least 2 software/computer engineers in the workplace.
6. The workplace must have at least 20 employees.
Students who meet the requirements can use the UME-FORM-1 Applied Engineering Education Application and Acceptance Form below if they wish.
The relevant form must first be approved by the workplace and then approved by the chairman of the Workplace Training Commission and submitted to the Workplace Training Commission together with the current transcript.
The deadline for submission of the forms will be shared as soon as possible.
In addition, 6 students who meet the conditions but cannot find a workplace will be evaluated by the companies contracted with our department and their workplaces will be provided.
Note Quota is limited to 45 applicants.

NOTE: UME-Form-1 and transcript document (finalized version of all courses of 2024-2025 Fall Semester) must be submitted to the commission members until February 14, 2025.
