Purpose:
The Sector Campus Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the effective execution of applied training activities, industry collaborations, on-site training programs, and joint project initiatives that connect students directly with the professional sector. The coordinator’s role is to establish strong communication between the department and industry partners, supporting students’ professional development, practical skills, and employability.
Duties and Responsibilities
Developing Industry Collaborations:
Establishing cooperation protocols with companies, institutions, and sector representatives, maintaining existing agreements, and developing new partnerships.
On-Site Training and Applied Programs:
Planning and managing applied course activities, technical visits, workshops, and field training programs carried out within sector institutions.
Coordination of Sector Campus Events:
Organizing sector days, career meetings, company presentations, seminars, and industry–academia networking events.
Student–Industry Matching:
Ensuring the placement of students in companies fitting their interests and competencies and sharing company requests with the department administration.
Mentorship and Guidance:
Providing academic and administrative support to students during their industry-based experiences.
Project and Collaboration Activities:
Developing joint project proposals with industry partners, guiding student project teams, and monitoring project processes.
Feedback and Evaluation:
Collecting and reporting company feedback, student evaluations, and alignment of learning outcomes with sector expectations.
Sharing Sector Updates:
Communicating technological, regulatory, and professional developments in the relevant sector to instructors and students.
Support for Employment and Internships:
Facilitating student access to internship and employment opportunities through industry collaborations.
