Purpose:

This committee operates to effectively, regularly, and up-to-date manage social media platforms and the department website in order to strengthen the institutional identity of the Department of Software Engineering, make educational activities, academic and social events visible, and ensure effective communication with students, alumni, and the public.

Duties and Responsibilities

Website Content Management:

Ensuring the content on the department website, such as announcements, events, faculty information, course plans, and committees, is up-to-date.
Publishing important information for students, such as internships, projects, exam schedules, curriculum changes, and notifications, in a timely manner.

Social Media Management:

Effectively and regularly manage the department's social media accounts.
Share content such as academic achievements, events, seminars, participation in TÜBİTAK projects, and graduate successes.
Highlight content that reflects the department's dynamism, such as student projects, competition participation, and hackathon successes.

Promotion and Event Support:

Announce events such as university open days, prospective student information sessions, and alumni reunions via social media and the website.
Ensure or coordinate the preparation of digital promotional materials such as department promotional videos, interviews, and event summaries.
Produce posters, visuals, and text content before and after academic events.

Compliance with Corporate Identity:

Ensure that all web and social media content complies with the university's corporate communication principles and visual identity guidelines.
