Answers to frequently asked questions in this area will be written. No! According to the regulations, students who have taken at least 100 ECTS of courses from the first two years can apply for the first internship, and those who have taken at least 150 ECTS of courses from the first three years can apply for the second internship. Students can do both internships in the same term, provided that they have taken 2/3 of the total ECTS required for graduation.
No! After completing the internship, the internship logbook must be submitted to the Department Internship Committee within the first 3 weeks of the following fall/spring semester (the semester in which you take the professional practice course). Internships of students who fail to submit their logbook to the internship committee within this period will be considered as not completed.
No! There must be at least one Software/Computer Engineer at the institution where you will do your internship.
To be able to do both internships, it is necessary to arrange an internship place in a very good company (with different departments, many Software/Computer Engineers, and working on large projects) acceptable to the committee. For normal companies, doing both internships at the same place will not be accepted.
This situation varies. During regular education, to do an internship during the semester, you must only be in a graduation status and not have any mandatory continuation courses. In the distance education period, it can be done with an official letter from the deanery.
During the distance education process, internship places cannot be arranged for students. Students must arrange their internship places on their own.
No, regardless of the reason, documents must be delivered in person. If you are not present at school during the document submission, a relative/friend can submit them for you.
As stated in Section 3, Article 7 of the internship regulations, "The internship must be done continuously and without interruption. Days not attended due to a valid reason will be deducted from the total internship period, and the total internship duration must be completed after the excuse."
